Michael Forlini, attorney of law
Michael V. Forlini established the Forlini Law Group, LLC in 2017. Prior to the Forlini Law Group, Mr. Forlini served as the Head Partner for Funk & Bolton, P.A.'s Environmental Practice Group for approximately seven years.
The Forlini Law Group is recognized for their experience and insight on matters pertaining to major environmental legislation, including the federal Comprehensive Environmental Response, Compensation, and Liability Act (CERCLA) and the Superfund Program, the Resource Conservation Recovery Act (RCRA), the Clean Water Act and the Clean Air Act. Michael has worked on tidal and non-tidal wetland issues involving the U.S. Army Corp of Engineers and has served as lead counsel on projects involving large scale Superfund removal and remedial actions.
When it comes to environmental legal issues, Michael draws from his deep and broad experience having worked at the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency Region III and Headquarters, New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection, West Virginia Air Pollution Control Commission, Northeast Maryland Waste Disposal Authority, and the Office of the Attorney General for the Maryland Department of the Environment.
Michael has counseled clients on issues ranging from permitting and enforcement matters associated with but not limited to hazardous and solid wastes, water pollution, water appropriation, storm water runoff, air permits and State regulatory and policy matters.

* Analyzing groundwater data and remediation data of innovative technologies
* Workgroup development of Title V and PSD clean air regulations and permits
* Solid waste recycling, landfills and waste to energy plants
* Stormwater nutrient runoff, NPDES permits and enforcement requirements
* OIl control remediation invovling TPH DRO and GRO in soil and groundwater
* Wetlands delineation and dredge spoils
* Assisting solar developers with projects on landfills and inactive wwtp
Mr. Forlini graduated from the University of Maryland School of Law, and is a member of the Maryland State Bar Association and the Maryland Ad Hoc Committee on Oil.
